Herts Urgent Care

Herts Urgent Care out-of-hours service is available Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.00am and all weekend (up to 8.00am Monday).  This service also covers Bank Holidays.

This service is for urgent problems that cannot wait until the next weekday surgery.

When you ring the out-of-hours GP service number you will be asked for your name and address and a brief description of symptoms. The call handler will assess your problem and its urgency.

Your information is then passed electronically to the Doctor on-call who will contact you.

You may be given advice and information on what you can do to help yourself.
